Biography
Professor Hongjun Fan received his BS degree in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in 1994, MS degree in Physical Chemistry from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter in 1997, and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Siegen (Germany) in 2004. He did postdoctoral research at Indiana University Bloomington from 2005 to 2009. Professor Fan joined the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics full time in 2009. He has more than 15 years of experiences in theoretical and computational chemistry. From 2009 he worked in State Key Laboratory of Molecular Reaction Dynamics, in the field of photochemistry, heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis.
