Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in Dalian, a beautiful coastal city at the southern end of Liaodong Peninsula. The main area is located near Xinghai Bay, near the mountain and the sea, adjacent to the famous international convention and Exhibition Center in the East and the beautiful Xinghai Park in the West. The transportation is very convenient. The Institute is adjacent to Dalian high tech park, Dalian University of technology, Dalian Maritime University and Northeast University of Finance and economics. This area is a scientific research and education center in Dalian.
  • As DICP's main campus, the Xinghai campus, occupies a total of 222,000 m2 with over 105,300 m2 of building space. The majority of the space is devoted to research, laboratory support, and offices. Since 1998, 71,000 m2 of building space has been added.

  • Changxing island covers an area of 670000 square meters, including 570000 square meters of scientific research land, which is mainly used for pilot scale-up research platform of application projects. The completed projects include 09 experimental building, No. 10 experimental building, catalyst amplification research platform and comprehensive experimental research platform of energy chemistry technology. The completed construction area is about 160000 square meters, including about 100000 square meters of supporting residential buildings.

  • The Energy College of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences covers an area of 303500 square meters and a building area of 142000 square meters. The campus is divided into teaching area and living area, with a total of 16 single buildings. There are teaching buildings, science laboratories, libraries, student apartments, conference buildings, comprehensive management buildings, sports venues, canteens, student associations, etc.
