Research Interests

Her research focus on size and shape controlled synthesis of solid catalysts and in-situ characterizations of working catalysts by using electron microscopy and X-ray spectroscopy techniques.

Biography

Yan Zhou obtained her bachelor degree at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2003, and her PhD degree from Xiamen University in 2011. She worked at Max-Planck-Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids (Germany) during 2009-2012 as a joint PhD student and postdoc. She joined State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012, and became a Professor in 2020.
