Research Interests

Her research mainly focuses on the synthesis, characterization and application of molecular sieves, especially its application as a catalyst for methanol conversion reaction. She has more than 50 publications and has applied for over 40 patents.

Biography

Miao Yang received her Ph.D. from State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, Jilin University in 2006 for her work on syntheses, structures and properties of microporous borophosphate compounds. After a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, in Dresden, Germany, she joined the Dalian institute of Chemical physics (DICP) in 2008. She was appointed as an associate professor in 2009 and became a full professor in 2019.
