Biography

Mingyuan Zheng received his PhD in 2005 from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the supervision by Prof. Tao Zhang. Afterward, he started work therein mainly focusing on catalytic conversion of biomass to high value chemicals, alcohols conversion, renewable chemistry and the industrial applications. He was promoted to full professor in 2018. He has published more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and filed more than 100 Chinese and PCT patents.
