Ph.D., Optical Instrument/Spectroscopy, Dalian University of Technology.(1997);
Associate Professor, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics(1999).
In 1997, he worked as Post-Doctor in the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics.
In 2001, He worked as Visiting Scientist in Schuit Institute of Catalysis, Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.
His research interests include laser spectroscopy, such as Raman and UV Raman spectroscopies, laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy, and theoretical calculation. He is working on fundamental catalysis: catalytic spectroscopic characterization and quantum chemical calculation. He trys to understand the reaction mechanism from the study on adsorption, desorption, surface intermediates and dynamics of the reactions by using the in-situ vibrational and optical spectroscopies and calculation, and reveal the essential relationship between catalytic performance and the catalyst structure and composition.
