Research Interests

1. Molecular dynamics of elementary reaction;

2. Preparation of molecules in specific quantum states;

3. The development of high intensity vacuum ultraviolet laser using four wave mixing technique

Biography
Professor Xiao received his BS degree from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2007, and his PhD in Physical Chemistry in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2013. Then he joined Prof. Xueming Yang's group at DICP and was supported by the "100 Talents Program" of DICP. With the state-of-the-art techniques of laser and molecular beam, professor Xiao focuses on the molecular dynamics of elementary reactions in gas phase, especially the reaction of free radicals with hydrogen molecules, such as F+H2, ,Cl+H2, OH+H2.
