Research Interests

Electron crystallography including 3D electron diffraction and low-dose imaging, X-ray crystallography, developing methodology of structural characterizations, design robust industrial zeolite catalysts

1. Structure determination of novel nano-sized zeolites by X-ray crystallography and electron crystallography, including unit cell parameters, space groups, and atomic coordinates.

2. Facilitating the targeted synthesis of zeolites by X-ray and electron crystallography, determining the Br?nsted acid sites and the adsorption sites of zeolites, understanding the diffusion behavior of adsorbents at the nanoscale.

3. Structural investigations of zeolite stacking disorders, twinning and defects by low-dose imaging such as iDPC-STEM imaging.
