1. Development of key components and integrated instruments for high-sensitivity and high-resolution online mass spectrometry, including photoionization source, chemical ionization source, RF-only ion transmission system, and time-of-flight mass analyzer.

2. Tandem mass spectrometry based on ion mobility spectrometry, quadrupole and time-of-flight mass spectrometry, including quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (Q-TOF MS), triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (QQQ MS), and ion mobility-mass spectrometry (IM-MS).

3. Applications of online mass spectrometry in clinical diagnosis, industrial process monitoring, and environmental detection.
