Research Interests
Perovskite solar cells, organic solar cells, interfacial layer, photoelectrochemical conversion and electrocatalysis powered by photovoltaics
1. Interface engineering on organic solar cells and perovskite solar cells Develop outstanding interface layer for high-efficient and stable perovskite solar cells and organic solar cells. The ideal novel interface materials with low price, friendly environment, good electrical conductivity, can be used for large area devices with roll-to-roll technology. Study the mechanism of interface layer, especially the exciton separation and carrier transport at interfaces.
2. Photoelectrochemical conversion and electrocatalysis powered by photovoltaics Investigate photoelectrochemical conversion (PEC) and electrocatalysis powered by photovoltaics (PV-EC) to reduce water into hydrogen and to electro-reduce carbon dioxide into chemicals/fuels.
