Research Interests

Basic research:

1) Solar photochemical conversion;

2) Photocatalytic hydrogen production, synthesis of ammonia or hydrogen peroxide;

3) Photocatalytic conversion of CO2 or methane to chemicals/fuels;

4) Intelligent development and precise synthesis of key new materials for photocatalysis/electrocatalysis;

5) In situ characterization of photocatalytic/electrocatalytic processes and study of catalytic reaction mechanisms.

Application development:

1) Large scale production of green hydrogen through electrolysis of water;

2) Resource conversion and utilization of methane, hydrogen sulfide, and other resources;

3) Catalytic conversion of CO2 to produce chemicals and fuels;

Large scale green production of hydrogen peroxide at room temperature, etc.
