Ban devotes to the design and application of novel molecular sieve membranes (e.g. metal-organic framework membranes, supramolecular framework membranes and mixed matrix membranes), and exploration of energy-efficient chemical separation processes targeting at H2 separation, CO2 capture, petro- and bio-chemical purification that play a pivotal role in the chemical industry.
