Abstract
Prof. Xi Zhang’ group have made great achievements in the research on supramolecular assembly and polymer films fabrication. The establishment and development of new concept of super amphiphilic molecule provide ways to explore new supramolecules and devices. Novel supramolecular polymerization approaches to enhancing the interaction in the molecules enables supramolecular assembly at room temperature in the aqueous solution. Series of amphiphilic molecules containing selenium elements show many properties including oxidation, revivification and response to ray, offering potential application in biologic and biomedical fields. Interface assembly methods can be used to fabricate and functionalize interface of organic films. Studies on the interaction in supramolecules based on single molecule force spectrometry technology provide powerful evidences to understand supramolecular structures and assembly driving force at the single-molecule level.
