Prof. ZHANG Fuxiang of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP) of the Chinses Academy of Sciences has been elected recently as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
Prof. Fuxiang Zhang has been engaging for a long time in the research of photochemical conversion of solar energy. He has achieved innovative accomplishments in design and synthesis of novel photocatalysts with wide visible light absorption, understanding of the mechanism of photo-induced charges separation and construction of the Z-scheme overall water splitting systems. And he has published more than one hundred papers in high ranking journals, including Nat. Commun., Joule, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater. etc.
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) was established in 1841, and is one of the most influential academic societies in the world. (Text by GUO Xiangyang)
