An executive team from BASF, led by Dr. Dirk Demuth, the senior vice president of BASF visited DICP on January 28th, 2015 and met with Prof. Xinhe Bao, the director of Basic & Strategic Studies on EnergyDivision of DNL and related staff members attended the meeting. The visit of the BASF team is to learn about the recent progress of DICP in the fields of novel zeolite materials for catalysis andcoal-based chemical production, and to seek for opportunities for further collaboration.
During the meeting, Dr.Dirk Demuth gave a brief introduction on the research and business of catalysis at BASF and researchers from DICP introduced their recent progress in the synthesis and application of zeolites. Guests from BASF also took a tour in Dalian National Laboratory for Clean Energy and State Key Laboratory of Catalysis after the meeting.
Prof. Tao Zhang, the director of DICP, and Prof. Aisheng Feng, the deputy director of DICP, met BASF guests and discussed in-depth on the details ofcollaboration between DICP and BASF on above research topics.
