Prof. Rainer Lehmann, Prof. Oliver Kohlbacher of University of Tübingen (Germany) and their PhD students visited DICP from Nov 23th to Dec 4th. Prof. Lehmann and Prof. Kohlbacher presented lectures with the titles of “Metabolomics from research to diagnostics - Capabilities, perspectives, pitfalls” and “Highly-sensitive feature detection for nontargeted metabolomics and integration into complex systems biology studies” Staffs and students from DICP and Dalian Medical University attended lectures. Active discussion was carried out between students.
During the 1-2 weeks of their visit, the German scientists discussed scientific results and developed future cooperative research projects with Prof. Guowang Xu and his colleagues in the group 1808, DICP.
