Biography

Prof. Mojie Cheng (born: 1966, Shandong, China) began his research career in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics since 1995.

B.Sc. Chemistry, 1982 Fudan University; 
M.Sc., 1992, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS; 
Ph.D, 1995, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS.

Research Interests 
The research on solid oxide fuel cells in our group includes advanced electrode and electrolyte materials, fabrication processes of membrane electrolyte assembly (MEA), evaluation of single cell structure, electrochemical reactions on porous electrodes, electrochemical oxidation of hydrocarbons, modeling calculation and computer simulation of single cells and stacks.

The missions of our group are: 
1. To develop advanced materials for solid oxide fuel cells;
2. To develop solid fuel cell technologies for stationary and mobile application;
3. To develop new industrially important chemical processes using solid oxide fuel cells as special reactors.
