Research Interests
Heterogeneous catalysis, conversion of biomass to high-value chemical, chemical hydrolysis of biomass in sugars
1. Development of chemical hydrolysis to carbohydrate, build sugar platform from agricultural and forestry biomass. 
2. Design and synthesis of supported metal catalysts, as well as modulating their surfaces and interfaces to induce high catalytic performance for C5/C6 sugars conversion with hydrogen.
