DICP passed 2012 CAS Special Fund Project for Instruments

    On September 24th, Bureau of Facility Support and Budget (BFSB), CAS organized several specialists to investigate our special fund project for instruments, i.e., Advanced Mass Spectrum Center program in 2012. The work panel members are from NSSC, CIOMP, CIAC, and the group leader is Mr. Miao Yougui from BFSB. Our vice director, Prof. Wang Hua, the relevant officials and the platform technicians attended the meeting. 

 

  

     The work panel listened the management report from Prof. Car Rui, the Head of Science & Technology Deputy and the work report from Prof. Zhang Qing, the project leader. Then, they asked several questions about the procedure of purchasing and checking, the usage of the special fund, and the management of the instruments. After that, the work panel inspected the running conditions of each instruments, and checked every equipment archives. Under a series of reviews, the work panel agreed our special fund project for instruments to pass the examination and they also made a good remark to this inspection. 

The Advanced Mass Spectrum Program was supported by the special funding from Ministry of Finance of PRC, and purchased 4 sets of instruments, i.e., MALDI TOF/TOF 5800, QTRAP 5500, FV1000MPE Multiphoton Laser Scanning Microscope, and Optima L-100XP Beckman Ultracentrifuge System. The Advanced Mass Spectrum Center will strongly support the proteomics, metabonomics, microfluid, and other bio-related research study.(by Zhao Xu)
