Entrusted by the State Commission of Development & Reform(SCDR), the Planning & Finance Bureau and the Hi-Tech Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have organized an Experts Group for Acceptance Inspection of the “National Engineering Laboratory for Methanol to Olefins” on 15th June. The National Laboratory has finished construction recently, and DICP is the legal entity of the national laboratory.
After hearing of the report presented by Prof. Zhongmin Liu of DICP on the construction process, the experts inspected the newly built laboratory, and checked the relevant documents. Then, a conclusion was given by the Experts Group, which stated that the construction contents and scale of this experiment platform have attained the requirements set by the SCDR; the layout, the structure and the facilities were excellent; the budgets were appropriate; the filing of documents were complete and well classified. Moreover, test-operations of the facilities for basic studies, for R&D of commercial catalyst production, and for technical integrating and simulating of methanol to olefins processes have proved that the National Laboratory satisfied the targets and requirements set by SCDR. Accordingly, the Experts Group agreed that this National Laboratory could pass the acceptance inspection.
